An independent group of volunteers who play an active role in conserving and enhancing trees and woods in and around the Borough of Spelthorne.  Working in Ashford, Staines, Sunbury, Laleham, Shepperton and surrounding areas.

A local conservation group that meets once a fortnight on Sunday mornings and welcomes new members.
Tasks are based in Spelthorne and Runnymede, with tools and gloves supplied, along with refreshments.

They perform a variety of tasks, all aimed at improving the local environment in the Runnymede and Spelthorne areas.


Get Out There! is a 4 year project launched in March 2010. working with local people across the Hammersmith and Fulham borough to provide training courses for adults and weekly practical conservation management volunteer days.



The Hampshire Coppice Group was set up in 2003 with the aim of supporting the work of coppice, underwood and associated craftsmen in Hampshire, as well as raising awareness of the benefits and opportunities they provide for woodlands and their wildlife, the landscape, rural employment and sustainable development.



The Sussex & Surrey Coppice group was formed out of the Wessex Coppice Group. In May 1997 a number of coppice workers in south-east England decided that a local group was needed to promote the industry and its products.



Blooming Marvellous is a Supported Adult Volunteer Gardening Project. It aims to empower those who want to volunteer, but would like some support to do so. 

These volunteers enjoy making a difference in the community. Their four main activities are:

  • Managing our allotments in Aldershot
  • Working in the gardens of older and disabled people
  • Improving community open-spaces
  • Working with other Countryside Charities
  • Participating in training and information sessions
